Fading fast.

Oh man, it's starting to smell like Fall. We're grasping onto all things Summer-spending as much possible time outside on patios, by the pool or maybe by the beach this long weekend! Do you guys have plans for the Labour Day weekend? Hope it's a good (and safe!) one.

 Everything that "krystelroxanne" takes a photo of looks truly magical. Forests, castles and old books filled with pressed flowers. Seriously this girl is from another world.

 Follow "birdandcleaver"if you want to see the prettiest most appetizing-looking table settings.

If you like adorable girls with vintage-inspired tattoos then "fifilewsis" is your gal. She is the co-owner of a Frontier Tattoo Parlour in the U.K. How rad is that?

All of  "beckybird"s photos make me want to run away to a dreamy cabin in the woods. Also, she is the singer for one of my favorite bands, The Honey Trees.

 "kkwolfe" is a fellow Winnipegger and is a total babe. Like whoa.

I had the privilege of working with the talented "misschristienicole" at a boutique here in Winnipeg a few years ago. Now she has started designing her own backpacks and bags and they are too cute.

Here's a little update of what's going on with us in the online world lately...

Good news! We have recently re-stocked our Insta-shop over at "Thelovelycloset" on Instagtram! We added our favorite brass pieces that we also carry in our shop here in Winnipeg. The necklaces all come with really nice long chains and fun brass pendants like these. It's easy to shop too! All you do is find us on Instagram and leave your paypal email in a comment and then we invoice you and once you've settled up we ship it out!

Also, like pretty much all of the population, we too are all over the Pinterest craze. Well, to be honest, we have been pinning cute things for several years now but our interest started to fade and we got sort of lazy with it until recently, when we decided to re-organize our page and give it a breath of fresh air! Now we are more psyched than ever to find new forms of inspiraton and we have been pinning up a storm!

Birthday boy.

This summer marks a decade from when Emery and I first met and started dating. Holy moly, 10 YEARS you guys! Whoa. They aren't kidding when they say time flies. I realize that I am a bit young to be able to say that I have been in a relationship for a decade (we met when I had just finished tenth grade and was a mere 16 years old) but hey, when you meet the person that you know you're gonna marry, age doesn't really matter. 

We have been through so much over the last decade; many trips, many adventures, many challenges, and so many laughs. I took the above photo in Los Angeles in one of the few authentic tiki bars left in America. (For those of you interested, it's called Tiki-Ti and is definitely worth a visit.)

Hands down one of our favorite things to do together is travel and explore new places. I was looking through some of our old photos and the majority of them were taken in different cities during our travels throughout the years. I started to feel a little nostalgic so I thought seeing as how it is his birthday today I would take you guys on a little trip down memory lane through our relationship history.
