TANNER GOOD(IE)S FLAGSHIP STORE- PORTLAND, OREGON

Last year I bought my very first Tanner Goods key lanyard @ Club Monaco, not knowing that this product was made by a bunch of people with a great passion for leather and that they have their own store.
The store concept was designed around the brand’s heritage leather goods line. Dark walls, doug fir reclaimed from an eastern Oregon barn, hand crafted light fixtures, and exposed brick showcase the belts, wallets and bags Tanner Goods is undeniably known for. With the tagline, handcrafted in the USA, it seems that each and every fixture for the Tanner Goods Flagship be made in Portland, Oregon or sourced from ebay and local antique shops. TARNSJO TANNERY X GANT RUGGER

The leather accessories program introduced by GANT Rugger for 2012 is produced by Tärnsjö Tannery; a small family owned company situated 2 hours north of Stockholm, Sweden. Tärnsjö is one of very few remaining tanneries in Europe where the process is still 100% organic and based on traditions and techniques going back to 1873. For the first 25 years, the company was run only by 2 people and in the early 1900s the company focused on equestrian equipment for local farmers. Tärnsjö is considered as one f the finest leather producers in the world among others supply renowned Brooks with saddle material, as well as a number of French Haute Couture brands with their finest leather for bags and accessories. The unique process, which has basically stayed the same for 250 years, ensures the highest quality possible and leather that will age and wear beautifully. Every piece is handmade within the tannery's small manufacturing set up. As they say, - We'd rather make 15 pieces and pour our heart in every single one, than produce 1500 and feel nothing. The program consists of a laptop cover, a mobile cover and a belt. `all products are offered in natural, un-dyed leather as well as a deep rich cognac shade. If you live in Holland you have to wait till September or when you can't wait hop on a plane to New York and go to a Gant Rugger Store.
